Hello 2012!

1.29.12
Hello All! I have been wanting to start a blog for sometime now, and I continue to see new blogs pop up every day which has inspired me to finally create my own. I've decided to use this blog to share my thoughts on my five passions in life.
Faith.
Family & Friends.
Fashion.
Fitness.
Food.
I've created pages that I will post my updates on each of these subjects so enjoy, hope you find it inspiring!

I can't believe it's 2012!!!! Each year continues to pass me by faster than the year prior, and boy did 2011 do just that! I have a tremendous amount to be thankful for as 2011 was a year of GREAT THINGS!

Here are a few highlights from 2011-

-Pat and I became homeowners on April 18, 2011. After months and months of searching, we finally found the perfect house to start our lives together in! Not only did we plan a wedding most of 2011, but we also painted our entire inside/outside of our house, planted an entire new yard, installed new kitchen appliances, and I was busy decorating, organizing, and more decorating. I may possibly be one of the most impatient people, poor Pat.

-In June my sister Cortney got engaged to David, they will get married this 6.30.12 and are now planning away. It's been a little de ja vu for me, but I thoroughly enjoy helping Cort with all the planning, it's truly a passion of mine. Cortney and David are absolutely perfect for each other, and I could not have picked a better guy for her.

-My youngest sister Paige, headed off to college in Pittsburg, KS in August. OMG is she really a freshmen in college now?? My baby sister is growing up way too fast, but I couldn't be more proud of the young woman she is turning into!

-We got married on September 17, 2011, best day of my life. I can't even explain the feeling you experience as you stand up there on that day and say your vows to each other in front of your closest family and friends. The moments and memories created that day will be with me for my lifetime! A year of planning, stress, budgeting, finally comes to life, all of the hard work paid off, and God gave us the most perfect day we could have ever asked for.

-Shortly after the wedding we helped my parents pack up from ole' GP and head to Wichita. After spending my whole life in Garden Plain, my parents decided they wanted to be closer into the city. They now live about two miles from Pat and I, and I LOVE IT!

-We honeymooned in Aruba and Curacao- WHAT A TRIP! We honestly didn't want to come back home. Favorite memory of the trip- our private dinner on the beach one night. Waves crashing, sun setting, bottle of wine, amazing food, absolutely no worries in the world, and being with the one I love, what could be better.

-Babies Galore! Every time we turn one of friends is either having a baby, or expecting a baby, NO we will not be next...not at least for a few years:) My Uncle Mark and Aunt Stacy welcomed their first baby- Brooklyn Presley into the world on September 29th, followed by our great friends Garrett and Tessa with their new addition Banks Nolan Redding on November 29th. We now have several friends expecting this year, and we can't wait to meet all of the new little ones.

-The Holiday season was extremely busy- we traveled to Colorado for Thanksgiving to celebrate at Pat's cousins house- Abby & Ben. Cindy's side of the family all made the trip to Meade, CO, we were blessed with perfect weather and safe travels there and back. I think we had a total of 8 Christmas' wow. Can't complain though, what is life without family? Pat got off work NYE, and we spent the night at my parent's house with friends. It's always great when he gets nights off:)

Let's bring on 2012 and see what is in store for us!
