Pat and I first met at Emerson Biggins, at that time we lived in different cities, had different dreams and goals, and we came and went that night. About a year later we crossed paths again when I moved back to Wichita, but this time it was different, much different. There's a distinct night that I will never forget, the night at Indigo when we stood and talked all night long, and it seemed as if we were the only two in the room, and I didn't want the night to end. After that night we were inseparable, a year later engaged, and September 2011 we tied the knot:)
We live in Wichita, KS and bought our first home in April 2011 and have spent the last several years doing lots and lots to make our little house just perfect for us. We often talk about moving to a "big city", actually we talk about it quite a bit, but then we think about all of our family that is here, and how could we possibly leave them we wonder?! So for now we just take life day by day, and we'll see where we land. God has a plan, and I'll just try to stay patient for what it's in store.
Our sweet lab Buddy is also a part of our family. Let me explain something, I've never been a big fan of animals. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought I'd have a "pet" anything living inside. That was until I met Pat, and along with Pat came Buddy.
I couldn't imagine life without him now, and as much as he sheds, is a pain in the butt to give a bath, is always muddy, and has "accidents" in the house, he always brings a smile to my face. He is such a lover, and the best dog I could have ever dreamed of. I wish we could take him everywhere. Even though I was recently tested and told I am highly allergic to dogs, I just can't bare the fact of kicking him outside. Seriousy, how could you turn down this face?!
